Easter is nearly over

The kids go back on Tuesday yipeee!!!!!!!
I have already started to strip the walls of my eldest bed room, picked up some material for her curtains and have measured up for the the new soft furnishings, so its forward on full speed to get it done.
The next room after that to be tackled is daughter no2, so planning and the use of what I have got is in full thought.

A new start

Now that I have got the kids all to school, I can finally start to make my house into a home.
Now that the recession has hit and everything is the way it is, creating something from nothing is so important, so let the creative juices flow.

I have a three bed house in a village, which in its self is beautiful,
we have a vegi patch which hopefully will be full this year, a few chooks,
I have not managed to do any decorating since we came to the house, due to the fact that we have been babying and giving every ounce of energy to that task.
So I am starting at the top and moving down, hopefully with a list of things thrifted, made ,recycled and bought.
